Ground Zero is a nuclear bomb testing site in Western Kazakhstan when the country was under the Soviet Union. The crater made by the last bomb tested on the site was the catalyst to lay out the Last-Bomb-Monument as a reminder of the trauma and devastation that occurred on the site. The project includes a research center situated around the crater to complement the unintentional value created by the virtue of blast and to conduct research to purify underground water tainted with radiation. This piece of architecture is intended to reform the damages on this land.
